*Quiz Bowl competes in their regional tonight

*JH track will begin today from 3:05-4:14.  Please meet in the EMPR. Students need to be picked up promptly at 4:15.

*Tomorrow, the Accounting class will be serving biscuits & gravy.  The price will be $2.00 for the meals and $.50 for a drink.  There are preorder forms in the office.

*Seniors - if you have not turned in all three pictures for the senior video (baby, grade school/junior high, senior) you need to do so by Fri, March 9.  Additionally, if we do not have a senior picture for you, a Lifetouch photo will be used. 

The following students still need to turn in one or more pictures:  Brooke Calvert, Mercedes Clayton, Dallas Cookson, Aaron Edwards, Chris Ehrhardt, Dakota Ensign, Landon Epperson, Lacey Hagerbaumer, Kalab Hill, TJ Klitz, Zach Lantau, Chad Lentz, Brandon Lord, Hannah Mahon, Chase Mast, Eric Mast, Amanda Moulton, Matt Raleigh, Noe Rey, Catherine Richards, Samantha Skirvin, Andrew Smith, John Steele, Sarah White, Abram Wiseman. 

*If you would like a copy of the senior video, forms are available in the office.

*Mr. Carey now has the STEM applications ready to hand out for anyone that plans on applying for the class next year.

*Tryouts for next year's HS Dance team will be on March 26 and March 28 and tryouts will be March 29 from 6-7.  More information and a signup sheet is in the office or call Pam Porter at 430-1995.

*Tryout practices for next year's Cheerleading squad are Tues, March 20 and Weds, March 21 from 6 - 8 pm and the actual tryouts are Fri, March 23 at 3:30.  A signup sheet is in the office.

*Seniors - The updated community service hours are posted on the office window and outside Mr. Harbourn's classroom.

*The next blood drive is Wed, March 7.  Please sign up in Mrs. Rosenkrans' room to donate.  You earn 1 community service hour for donating.  There are some afterschool shifts available for workers to get community service hours.  Student council members can sign up for daytime shifts.

*Next Friday, March 9, the Accounting class will be serving cinnamon rolls.  The price will be $1.00 for the meal and $.50 for a drink.  There are preorder forms in the office.

*The end of 3rd quarter is Fri, March 9.

*Athletic Club's 3 on 3 basketball tournament is March 24.  Entries are due by March 9 and the cost per team is $60.  Entry forms are available in the office or at www.cusd1.org

*There will be a benefit on April 22 for Jenna Edwards.  Tshirts are being sold for $10.00 each, with orders due by April 10.  For an additional $25.00, you can be a sponsor and have your name printed on the back.  Order forms are available in the office.

*Yearbooks are now for sale.  Order forms are in Mrs. Germann's room or in the office.

*Pep Club still has some 2011-12 basketball shirts available.  See Ms. Isaacks or Mrs. Reeves if you want one.

*Pep Club is selling Payson Seymour lanyards with a detachable clip for $7.00.  An example is hanging in the office window.

*Mr. Page is selling Payson Seymour Athletics t-shirts to students for $5.00 each.  All money will go towards the weight room construction.

  • Prom - Sat, April 14
  • Senior Trip - leaving on April 24, returning on April 28
  • HS Baccaleurate - Thurs, May 17 at 8:00 at the Payson Methodist Church
  • HS Graduation - Sat, May 19 at 3:00
  • Dead Week for Summer 2012 - July 15-21.  During this time, there will be no mandatory or optional events scheduled for extracurricular activities. Future Dead Weeks: Summer 2013 - July 14-20; Summer 2014 - July 13-19; Summer 2015 - July 12-18; Summer 2016 - July 17-23
