CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
Denise Albsmeyer called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. Roll was taken with the following members present: Denise Albsmeyer, Keith Barry, Russ Board, Danelle Donley, and Trista Neisen. Cory Hagerbaumer and Lisa Schwartz were absent.
Also present were Donna Veile and Julie Molidor.
MOVE TO CLOSED SESSION

MARCH 19, 2026 Regular Meeting
CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
Lisa Schwartz called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Roll was taken with the following members present: Denise Albsmeyer, Keith Barry, Danelle Donley, Cory Hagerbaumer, Trista Neisen and Lisa Schwartz. Russ Board was absent.

TECHNOLOGY REPORT
Lucas Ayers submitted a report of technology issues over the past month. Chromebooks for staff have been ordered and all but one amplifier has been installed in the classrooms. The network has been updated and preparations are under way for upcoming state testing.
AD REPORT
Tyler Duschinsky submitted a report on the status of current sports. After hosting both the HS boys basketball regionals and the JH volleyball 8th grade regionals the district received several compliments. New padding has been installed on the backboards. The shot clocks will be installed before the next school year.

SUPERINTENDENT REPORT
Donna Veile noted that SB7 documents have been sent out to staff and returned. The district will be issuing a letter to HyVee to end the contract and thank them for their many years of partnership in the lunch program.
IHSA MEMBERSHIP 2026-27

NON-CERTIFIED STAFF YEARS OF SERVICE

2ND READING OF IASB POLICIES
Barry made a motion to approve the second reading of IASB policies as listed on the agenda. Albsmeyer seconded the motion. AYE: Albsmeyer, Barry, Donley, Hagerbaumer, Neisen and Schwartz NAY: None
PSYCHOLOGY WEIGHTED CLASS
Albsmeyer made a motion to approve the request for Psychology to be a weighted class beginning with the 2027-28 school year. Neisen seconded the motion. AYE: Albsmeyer, Barry, Donley, Hagerbaumer, Neisen and Schwartz NAY: None
ELEMENTARY PRINCIPAL REPORT
Julie Molidor shared that state testing begins next week. For the PBIS celebration students worked through a STEM project to make leprechaun traps. Several grade levels celebrated National Read Week at the beginning of March with dress up days, author studies and guest readers. A slideshow of 1st grade curriculum activities was shared.

SUMMARY OF THE MARCH 19, 2026 BOE MEETING
BOARD ACTION/DISCUSSION
The board approved the consent agenda, 2026-27 IHSA membership, non-certified staff years of service list, and the second reading of IASB policies. Psychology will become a weighted class beginning with the 2027-28 school year.

Non-certified position for 25-26: Bryson Davis as HS evening custodian, pending completion of required paperwork
Non-certified position for 26-27: Ashley Anders as cafeteria worker
Certified positions for 26-27: Michelle Sheffler as JH/HS principal, effective July 1, 2026
The board also approved the JH/HS principal contract and a resolution for a non-renewal.
