Payson Community Foundation

Mission:

The Payson Seymour Education Foundation will acquire and distribute financial and other resources to Community Unit School District #1 for the enrichment of academic programs as well as for other projects aimed at enhancing the quality of education.   

 

Purpose:

The Payson Seymour Education Foundation has been created in recognition of this community’s serious commitment to excellence in our public schools.  The foundation is to be a source of funding which is beyond the basic responsibility of local and state tax support.  Such additional funding can make the difference between a good education and an excellent education.

 

What is our education foundation?

       The education foundation is a non-profit organization that is chartered by the state of Illinois.  It is a Qualified Charitable Organization under the Internal Revenue Code.  It is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.

 

 What are the benefits of the Education Foundation?

      The Education Foundation is a tax-deductible organization that will benefit the community in many ways.  The Foundation helps students become more responsible.  Past experience in this program has shown that drug abuse is less likely, and students will have brighter futures after graduation.  This program also provides households with more discretionary income and provides workplaces with better employees. 
      Any donations given now will come back to you through dividends!
